For a magical Castle wedding venue that is yours exclusively on your wedding day, Chiddingstone Castle is the perfect choice. We close the Castle and the grounds to the public whenever we have weddings, so that we can focus all our attention on you and your party.

Three separate areas are licensed for ceremonies and the Castle is fantastic for weddings all year round. The Orangery in the grounds is ideal for couples marrying in the summer months, whilst the splendour of the Great Hall is an enchanting place for winter weddings.

Chiddingstone Castle is able to accommodate a range of guest numbers, from smaller gatherings of 50 or fewer to extravagant parties of up to 120 in the Great Hall.  We can also erect a splendid marquee in the grounds should you wish to do so. The stunning Tudor features of the Castle and the breath taking views of the Weald provide plenty of lovely photo opportunities.  The Castle is set on the edge of the tranquil Tudor village of Chiddingstone, with an ancient parish nearby should you wish a church service.
