The Powder Mills is the romantic country house wedding venue located in the stunning Sussex countryside.

Complete with its very own peacock on the grounds, the 150 acres of natural landscape provide an idyllic scene for your wedding. With rolling parkland, lakes, woods and even waterfalls, The Powder Mills is nestled in an unbeatable country location.

From small, intimate gatherings to large, lavish celebrations, we offer a number of fantastic spaces for your whole day. The Powder Mills is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships within the Music Room or Pavilion. If you would prefer an outdoor ceremony, these can be held next to our picturesque lake.

Your wedding breakfast is taken care of by our award-winning chef to provide a delicious gourmet experience. For a menu tailored to you, our chef is happy to discuss your tastes and specific requirements. We are proud that all of our dishes are made from locally sourced produce.

Our wedding team is second to none. Throughout the whole planning process, your personal wedding coordinator will be on hand to offer advice and ensure everything runs smoothly. On the day, our dedicated team will take care of every little detail so you can enjoy your celebrations.

The historic 18th Century hotel boasts 49 luxurious rooms for your overnight guests, plus a stunning Bridal Suite for the happy couple.

We have DJed to diverse crowds for over 20 years and know how to fill a dancefloor. We always work closely with our clients before the event to make up a stella playlist of your favourite tracks, family favourites and requests.

You love the new David Guetta thats playing on Radio 1 but your mum is a massive Michael Jackson fan? No problem, we love mixing the old with the new, cutting in a few remixes and keeping the dancefloor guessing. We are all mix DJs so you know the music will keep flowing like all night long.

We don't have dj packages to chose from, every booking is different and we price it this way. We are not the cheapest DJs so if your looking for the best deal most of the time we can't help. We use RCF speakers with Pioneer cdjs or Traktor controllers. Our lighting will always be designed around the venue and we have absolutely no problem playing over the booked time slot if you want to keep the party going into the early hours. We have DJed for Hedkandi Brighton, The Honey Club Brighton, Danny Dyer, the cast of TOWIE & Made In Chelsea and we have also played alongside Calvin Harris and Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim. Music Choices -  We will gladly work to a playlist provided in advance, play from genres or decades that you select, or use our extensive musical knowledge, and our database of thousands of tracks, to select the music most suited to your event – as well as responding to requests on the night.

Timing Is Everything - All aspects of our involvement are carefully coordinated to provide a discreet and efficient service. You can rely on our technical team and DJ to arrive and set up at the agreed hours so that everything is ready in plenty of time for the music to begin.

Leave The Rest To Us - We have DJed in Castles in Scotland, at Pacha in Ibiza, for Jamiroquai in Cornwall and for Hedkandi in Brighton. The biggest day of your life is in safe hands. Once the first dance is over just relax and join the party!
