Hedingham Castle in Essex is one of England’s most stunning, romantic wedding venues. The 900-year-old Norman Keep, the early Georgian Mansion House, outstanding landscaped gardens and grand marquee all provide the most unforgettable setting for your dream day.
Your ceremony will be held in the grand Banqueting Hall of the keep. The room has the capacity for 100 guests with an additional 30 guests seated in the Minstrels’ Gallery. Following the romantic ceremony, you and your guests will head toward the Mansion House over Henry VII’s Tudor Bridge. In the Great Hall you will enjoy a relaxed champagne drinks reception looking out over the stunning grounds and picturesque, ornamental lake.
When the day finally draws to a close, the happy couple can retire to the Garden Cottage. Set within its own private orchard, in a peaceful corner of the estate, the cottage provides the perfect place for your first night of married life.
